Sandeep Sachdeva

Sandeep Sachdeva is an international banker who, after leading large global banking businesses in three continents, retired in his mid-40s to pursue his personal interests. He has since co-founded Safe in India Foundation, his chief passion, and is its current CEO. He is also an active board-member of a number of large social enterprises in the UK and Europe, which he has helped restructure and turn-around/grow. Sandeep is a graduate of IIT Roorkee and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad

Ravi Gulati

Ravi Gulati co-founded Manzil – a youth-led non-profit providing a space & learning resources for low-income children & youth. He also facilitates Delhi Government school principals’ leadership learning with SCERT, & enthusiastically mentors many other youth initiatives addressing a diversity of social issues. Not only is all his work pro-bono, but he also contributes financially from his own resources to Manzil and these youth initiatives. He also serves on the Boards of a few NGOs like Pravah that focus on youth learning and leadership. Ravi is a graduate of SRCC and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad

Prabhat Agarwal

Prabhat Agarwal is founder and coach at Aravali Scholars wherein deserving students from low-income neighborhoods are mentored and provided academic resources to achieve their potential. Prabhat personally mentors these students in the two centers at Bijwasan, Delhi and Sikanderpur, Gurgaon in India. Prabhat also is a mentor and/or investor in several start-ups, most of which are in the social enterprise space. Prabhat is a graduate of IIT Delhi and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad

Ms Chitra Khanna

Head- Safety Initiative

Chitra Khanna leads our Accident Prevention Initiative and believes in empowering people to live with dignity. She is an Electrical and Industrial Engineer and has worked in both the corporate and development sector. Her experience spans working with communities, government and multilateral agencies for several years. She is a co-founder of Towards Action And Learning (TAAL), an initiative which works on issues of Governance and Livelihood in Madhya Pradesh.

Masab Shamsi

Head- Worker Assistance Center

Masab leads the Safe-In-India Worker Support Centre in Manesar, to deliver our services. He is supported by a growing team that reaches out to these workers to assist them in obtaining better health-care and compensation from ESIC. He has more than three years of professional experience in Welfare and Development areas and is a graduate of Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi.

Sandeep Singh

Manager- Governance & Workers Support Group

Sandeep Singh joined Safe in India as a part-time consultant in Dec17. An engineering graduate from IIT Roorkee, who lost sight due to diabetes but has fought back, establishing himself as an author in Hindi, content writer and a motivational speaker. Sandeep helps lead our worker support groups. He also keeps an eye on our targets and timelines

Aparna Agrawal

Aparna, a young, passionate lawyer, is SII ESIC Systematic Improvement Manager. She earlier practiced in the Delhi High Court, and believes since then in extending the practice of advocacy beyond court rooms to address social issues and directly impact lives. In 2018, she represented the role of young people in policy advocacy at the United Nations General Assembly High Level Political week. She has been an entrepreneur and has good exposure to the development sector.

Amitesh Kumar Singh

Center Coordinator

Amitesh is the Associate Coordinator for Safe-In-India Worker Support Centre. He oversees the office administration and helps injured workers in obtaining ESIC benefits. He brings with him six years of grassroots experience of the social sector, health, and nutrition, especially for the Scheduled caste and tribes. He has also worked in the “Going to School project“, in rural areas of Bihar. He is a post graduate from Nalanda Open University.

Datla Hari Varma

Advisor ESIC Initiatives

A senior Management professional having over four decades of experience in leadership roles, initially as a Special Forces Officer in the Indian Army for 22 years and subsequently in the Corporate Sector Logistics, ITES, Manufacturing, and Hospitality Sectors. He is also a Certified Life Coach.

​Hari ji advises on and executes a number of ESIC operational and systemic change initiatives for SII.

Jitender Dabla

Field Executive

Jitender Kumar joined us in Jul17 as our second Outreach Executive. He holds a diploma in Computer Application. Before joining Safe In India, he worked in a manufacturing unit for 4 years and is therefore well versed with the working conditions in small factories. In his current role, he reaches out to the Injured workers and assists them with the ESIC health care and claim management process. He likes writing in Hindi about worker issues.

Kamlesh Bhandhari

Kamlesh works as a Safety Executive in Safe In India. He has an experience of more than 5 years in health and safety field. He has imparted safety trainings and conducted safety audits in various companies. He has completed his graduation in Electrical Engineering and after that pursued post-graduation diploma in health and safety.

Aaroshi Bidhuri

Aaroshi, a graduate in Communications and Extension has earlier worked with IAS officers and the Government of India in the development communications sector. She firmly believes that communication plays a significant role in sustainable development and to reach to the ground levels and work for the people and with the people to make them independent.This belief is key to her work as the Communications officer cum Social media executive at Safe in India Foundation where she leads designing of digital media communication campaigns geared to catalyse change through a process of participation and immersion

Mrinal Keshri

Mrinal leads as Coordinator, Workers Assistance Centre,Manesar, and manages all the operational and functional activities of the Safe in India Workers Assistance Centre. He oversees the office administration and helps injured workers in obtaining ESIC benefits. He worked as Young Professional in capacity of Block Program Manager under Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP) at Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission (MPSRLM) for one year. He holds a PGDM in Development Management from Development Management Institute and a B.E. in ECE from the Gujarat Technological University.
